Good news always brings happy moment for the patients just after successful operation. It is not only for the patient but also for the family and well wishers. A ‘good news’ video of the week came from a hospital in Baltimore where 16-year-old Amari Hall celebrated after a successful heart transplant. This joyful reaction is very rare for the patients that this boy has shown on the bed.
Hall’s aunt captured the moment he danced with joy in his hospital bed at the University of Maryland Medical Center. Medical staff also joined in the impromptu celebration after seeing Hall’s jubilant reaction. The teenager was born with a congenital heart defect known as hypoplastic left heart syndrome and had waited in the hospital for months before receiving a transplant. This condition caused him to have three corrective heart surgeries before the age of two. By the time he was 15, his heart started to fail and he needed this transplant to save his life.
As the boy danced while lying in hospital bed, the nurses who were taking care of him joined in. The event was captured on video which posted on Facebook. News stations later picked the video up and the video became viral.
